On my work to work today, i saw a little sparrow lying motionless on the pavement. (Neh, birdie ain't in the pic, so dun bother to hunt for it). From far, i din know wat it was till i got a closer look. The tiny fellow was lying flat on the ground, head bent towards its body, eyes shut tightly. Obviously, there was no sign of life. Looked pretty depressing to me. Esp when i realised there's a pool of blood beside it. So, the tiny creature bleeds like all of us. I jus hated but yet couldn't help imagining wad had caused it to end up lidat.
Jus when i was saying my silent prayer for it to rest in peace n blaming myself for the lack of courage to give it a proper burial, i saw a bike riding towards it. The cyclist wasn't aware of the litte bird, n jus when i was shouting inside, "No, pls dun let it happen!", he narrowly missed it n avoided adding on to its pain. If, it still felt any pain. Poor little sparrow. How helpless it is in life. Ain't birds supposed to be carefree and dat the sky belongs to them? Well, guess they hav their own share of worries too. Rest in peace, little one.
It's a rainy morning n i'm now standing in the crowd on the train. Time to hit my book. Guess the title? Haha. Yeah. You're right. Holly and Gerry are back. P.S i love you.
