Anyway, back to my own updates, it's been a nice weekend for me and junwei becos' our dear friend muthu came to visit us! Yay yay. And guess what, he took the train all the way from copenhagen to karlskrona to cook curry for us for lunch. Haha. Yeah. The authentic Muthu's Curry!! =) and he brought us the Wii Fit set, chinese tea from our parents, and whole lots of english books, chinese books, teaching software, printer ink for my teaching. Wahaha. A whole luggage filled with OUR stuff. =) Well, so nice to have friends. =) Anyway, while muthu was staying in our place, we decided to hold the inaugural fireplace lighting ceremony.. hehe.. no need to wait for winter liaoz.. yippie! We bought the firewood from the petrol kiosk and viola!! Check it out! Nice, warm fire...
Nice, right? haha. Saves the need for heater. And fire is more cosy too! I've always only read such scenes in books. Where the couple will light up the firewood, sparks will fly in the air, they will each hold a wine glass in their hands, have some jazzy music playing in the background, and spend a romantic evening together.. wahaha.. now we can make it come true! but our version is more like, the couple lights up the firewood, soot flies all around, "Hot Shot" is playing on the TV, jw has a tiger beer in his hand and I have a cup of ribena, and we are lying on our favourite rug in the living room and enjoying our night.. waha... it's still wonderful.. =)
Hoho.. Hope we don't burn the place down.. =) and meanwhile we are still figuring how to get rid of the soot.. someone suggested vacuum cleaner.. which I reckon is a bad idea afterall.. haha.. fire fire we love you!!
Bye bye Mr Pilot.. =) Pls come back and visit us soon!! Promise you won't have to cook curry this time round.. keke.. =) and I will cook my Lor Mai Gai again for you.. Woohoo..

Mi tang yue liang...
Yeah yeah.. mi tang = honey, yue liang = moon!! Finally, we are planning for our honeymoon! Woohoo! You can't imagine how thrilled and excited I am, over this.. It's like a little girl's fantasy all come true.. We are going to spend a white christmas in New York with Er Jiu Jiu and family!! Woho..
New York City, the dream of dreams, here we come on 20 Dec!!!
You know, I've been doing some thinking recently... Yeah yeah, maybe I am too boliao in my free time so I ended up in thoughts when I should be studying or doing my tests or cleaning the house.. HAHA.. Anyway, do you realise how 99% of my blog entries are about happy things?
Well, if I don't remember wrongly, there were only 2-3 entries where I blogged about me being sad.. Not to mention the ishi entries, because that was one of the worst moments of my life..
That aside, I realised I seldom talk about sad or gloomy things. Is it because I really lead an extremely happy life? Or is it because my optimism made me overlook all the silly and sad things in life? Or is it because I forget every hurt that's been cut into my heart because it heals quickly? Or is it because I simply do not want my friends and relatives to worry when they read my blog, which is why I don't talk about sad things, which in the end defeats the real purpose of a blog which is to be true to yourself?
Well. It's not that I don't have tears or I can't feel sadness. I do!! I'm an extremely sensitive and emotional being which jw knows fully and truly well. A simple action he does can make me laugh like mad, and a simple sad scene from a show can make me cry like no tomorrow. Well. I dunno why. The richness of emotions.
It's not that life is perfect in Sweden. It isn't. We do have our silly bickers once in awhile like any other couple, even though it may be extremely seldom like once in a month. I still do feel sad at times when I think about the badminton girls and my family. And studying does get boring at times too and I feel like throwing everything aside.
So to be honest, life ain't perfect and it will never be.
That said, today, I still wanna stand proudly and announce that I'm a lucky girl who can't count her blessings enough. Yes yes. I do feel that I am very xing fu, contented and happy with my life now. Because I have always been a simple-minded girl (or so I would think) with not much ambitions about the future nor do I desire to earn tonnes of money and live in a huge house and have maids to look after me. All I need is a loving husband, a loving mummy, a loving daddy, and in future, a child for me to love. So I've found three of them. Why shouldn't I be happy? =)
Which is why you will still see many more happy blog entries from me. Keke.
Life is simple. Don't ever see life as complicated because then you will overlook and miss all the joy and goodness that you can enjoy.
Ta-dah!!!

The familiar feeling...
Yeah yeah! Wu lao shi is back in action! =)
After more than two months of saying bye bye to the kids at Berries, I kinda miss that feeling. And wahaha, I had the chance to rekindle it in Sweden! And now, I can't depend on the school to provide me with the syllabus, stories, props and exercises every week. Instead, it's up to me, myself and I. So, it's kinda challenging but exciting start for me all over again.
Oh, I came up with a logo and name for my 'classroom'. Keke. Must act pro. =) I love the picture! Haha. There are meanings for the choice, okie?
1) Sun - Symbolize radiance, energy, life, and of course Summer!
2) Tortoise - Inspired by Wei Xiao Pasta, which says that the tortoise has strong determination and will persevere till the very end! That's the attitude we need in studying.
3) Star-shaped flowers - Symbolize the little adorable kids growing day by day. =) Of course, each of them is as precious as a gem and is a shining star!
4) Water - Symbolizes my hope of helping to nurture the kids and see them through their growing process as much as I can.. =)
5) Paradise - I don't want my kids to dread school or hate the idea of learning Chinese or English or any new thing that I teach them. Instead, they should find it fun, exciting, and anticipate to come to my class where they learn through playing. Oh yeah, the spirit of Berries! Huan Le Zhong Xue Xi!
Keke. Sounds crap? Yeah I also dunno why a simple picture like that captured my mind so much when I came across it, and thus inspired me to use it as a logo after manipulating some of the colours and making it even brighter. =)
There you have it! My new classroom cum playroom cum guestroom! Haha. Teeny bit small, but since I only have 3 kids, I guess it's kinda just right for us. =) Lalala. So now I quite look forward to seeing the kids on every Friday. Hee. =p Kids have a way of making you happy.
Rainbow! Yeah my kawaii hubby called me and I thought what was up. And he told me there was a rainbow outside and I gotta go see it since he said the rainbows here are much prettier. Hee. More U-shaped. Well, I only managed to capture the shot when it was sort of vanishing, but still, it was nice to have witness it. =) R is for Rainbow!!
Time for some sweet stuff! Been eating alot of titbits, choco and biscuits recently. Haha. I guess soon I'll grow so fat that mummy will wonder what happened to me. =)
We bought the puddings from the Malmő bus, which comes on every Sat from 10am to 11.30am and sells a busload of Asian food, vege, spices, preservatives, dried food etc. Kinda exciting first time experience to squeeze onto the bus. And amazing how much things a normal bus can load because there were so many racks all over and there was only space for us to walk in single file. Keke. But well, yeah, it adds on to the familiar feeling I had last week. =)
Oh, and we finished watching Fei Teng Bing Dian two days ago. The drama serial by Fann Wong, Jeanette Aw, Pierre Png etc. Woohoo. We watched a Singaporean drama! Haha.
Another point for the familiar feeling. =)
Till the next time! =p
