Passion Hot Red Nite @ Boiler.. My very first hen's nite

There.. suddenly, less than half an hour of being in Boiler, Elvina said they have a surprise for me. Oh My God. I half expected them to make me wear smtg kinky for the rest of the nite. Like bunny ears and tail or smtg lidat. Haha. Uh oh. But well, being the nice gals that they are, Elv & Mitch chose the super nice tiara and sash for me! The rule was that I cannot remove them, not even when I went to pee.. Haha..AIYOZ.. I knew I was going to get weird stares the whole nite liaoz.. BUTTTT.. who cares??!@!@

See, I'm the xing fu princess with two sisters who love me very much.. Wahahaha..

Aruna, Leela, Me, Lynn, Janice.. All dressed up in red!! Woho.. Red is the colour of nite nite man!!~ Way to go!!~

There was also this spin-the-wheel game that I had to play.. Whatever I spinned, I had to do the dare.. Luckily I only had to spin twice before I was dragged on stage.. HAHA.. The first forfeit was to do a body shot (which we didn't really noe what it mean, so Nat grabbed my hands and then my boobs and we took a pic.. HAHA) The second was to pinch a guy's bums, which I hao bu rong yi persuaded Leonard (the waiter) to help me out.. Neh, I din really feel anything though.. Wahaha.. Woohoo!~

I really felt like the bride dat nite.. hee.. or rather, for the first time i feel like a pageant queen!! HAHAHA.. A first for me.. and wherever I went, people were giving me weird looks.. esp in the toilet.. haha.. I was telling Mitch and Elv "OKIE, PLS DUN MAKE ME DO ANYMORE RIDICULOUS THINGS.. LIKE GO ON STAGE YAR.." before I heard my name being announced by the gay emcee.. OH MY GOSH.. SUMMER GOH, HEARD YOU ARE GETTING MARRIED, PLS COME ON STAGE.. Uh oh.. Dat's it.. But being the good sport that I am (bu yao lian, yes), how can I resist.. Haha.. and I always like a bit of fun here & there.. Woohoo.. So there I was, squeeeezzzzing my way through the crowd to go on stage.. Yes yes, still wif many people giving me strange stares..

As usual, the emcee asked alot of sex related questions.. he's well known for that isn't it? But i like coming to boiler becos of him.. Haha.. and i like to watch the dancers perform too!! Anyway, I was asked on stage if I am still a virgin, whether i know how to hold a 'mic' correctly, how to have overseas sex wif an overseas hubby etc.. Basically i juz keep shrugging my shoulders and answering 'I dunnoe'.. which you might just as well say I am giving myself away.. HAHAHA.. nvm.. I wasn't the only one on stage, there were a bdae boy and a bdae gal as well, and i knew it dat the guy is going to kanna ten times jialat jialat more than us.. haha.. cos the emcee onli goes for guys.. meaning I am safe.. Haha..

We had to play this test reflex singing game.. when he sings "Stand By Me", you gotta sing "Stand by You".. and when he says "Me You", you say "You Me", when he says "Me Me", you say "You You" etc.. (yeah you got the idea..=p) keke.. Basically I did quite well.. got into the finals wif the guy.. and cos both of us were flawless after one round, he added in "He" & "She".. so when he sings "He By You", you gotta sing "She By Me" and so on and so forth.. Damn.. If you know me, I had a sore throat for weeks.. and I sounded so husky on stage.. Arrggghhhh.. Mitch says it was sexy.. But wah rauzzz, i would much prefer my normal voice.. Aniwae, back to the same, the guy and I were each given a glass of beer, and the loser has to tah it.. Plus if he loses, he gotta has his balls squeezed by the emcee, and if i lose, i have to squeeze the emcee's balls.. WAH RAUZ.. haha.. LUCKILY, i won.. Woohoo.. No mistakes!~ and the guy made one tiny mistake, but dat's it.. lalalala.. end of game.. he kept asking me to save him, I'm so sorry dude.. I can't change the emcee's sexuality.. Keke.. But the guy finished the beer in a shot.. So I guess he can drink.. Not bad.. Happie bdae!!!~

When I made my way down the stage, everyone was congratulating me and smiling at me and making an aisle for me.. Haha.. So honoured.. =p But I hope they will never recognize me again.. Yeah i tink so.. once i remove the tiara and the veil and the sash.. Anyway, yeah, here's a familiar face!! Hazel!!! My jie mei.. Who came late and missed my whole performance.. but her frenz xiuhui callie and serene were all there and they saw everything.. haha.. pai sey.. hazel is my best clubbing kaki recently.. and guess wad, we juz signed up for GrrPower dance class at Jitterbugs.. woohoo! Starting 11 June.. A girly MTV hip hop dance class.. am looking forward to it!! Can't remember when's the last I sweat.. hehe..

For the record, we opened two bots of Martell that nite.. Bear in mind dat not many of us can drink, some of them only drank Coke.. Haha.. and I had a Waterfall, Flaming Lambo, followed by a Graveyard.. All thanks to Ariane.. Haha.. She had wanted to order Sambuca shot after the Flaming, but dear Shah (the head waiter) said if want me to chui, get me Graveyard.. Haha.. WELL WELL WELL.. I knew the power of Graveyard after the first time I had it at East Coast.. So I kept protesting.. Haha.. Luckily Ariane was kind enuff to share half wif me, and also add in abit of Red Bull to sweeten it.. Haha.. Okie.. =) Basically I dun remember much of the later part of the nite.. just flashes of memory.. till the rest helped me recall..

& I muz say I do tink I have an auto-pilot mode.. Like junwei.. Haha.. and I'm quite glad bout it.. Janice said I walked her out to the main road to take cab, and walked back to Boiler myself (steadily).. and before she left I still insisted to let her have another drink.. And I survived till Boiler closed at 4plus am.. and together with Hazel, Lynn, Elv and her frenz, we went to Fong Seng for prata.. and I ordered a plaster and teh peng (as usual).. and I even played five ten wif Haz at Fong Seng and won!! Amazingly I did all those, wifout remembering much.. I knew I had prata, but i din noe where or who went.. HAHAHA.. Uh oh.. I survived till I got onto the cab home, but before I puke, Haz said I still ask the cabbie for a plastic bag (which I DO remember.. hehe).. But somehow the bag broke or I had a bad aim and I ended up dirtying my seat and bag.. Oh well..

At least I managed to change into casual clothes before I got to bed..which was at 6am in the morning.. Haha.. Only thing I regret was that I was too tired and dizzy to remove my make up.. Oooooopsss.. Somehow, I still managed to drag myself out of bed at 11am on sunday and had steamboat wif my parents and bro and sis-in-law.. mummy muz be wondering why i was washing my clothes (from last nite), my bag, my hp cover and my camera pouch all at once.. HAHA.. wooopss..

Glad dat my hangovers are never too jialat.. Not like junwei's.. haha.. bad headaches, loss of appetite and all.. i was juz very very dehydrated the whole morning and drank tonnes of water, and of coz i ate less rice than usual at the steamboat.. but well, at least I ate.. =p

OUR sweden apartment..

Keke.. Yeah yeah.. soon there'll be no more "My", but "Our"... Haha.. somehow, it feels sweet and loving to think it that way.. Lalala.. Welcome to OUR ROM, OUR wedding, OUR house, OUR family.. hehe.. jw has a problem with the tongue switching though.. he still always says MY MY MY.. arghh.. GUYS!!!~~ Wahahaha..

So, this post is to intro to you OUR apartment in sweden.. keke.. anyone interested to go visit us, you are more than welcome.. =p I promise I will cook edible food for you.. Woho..

It's only today that it dawned on me what this pic is... I had wondered why jw sent it to me.. to let me realise that it's snowing and that snow can accumulate on cars till so thick? & I had wondered why someone would write "I LOVE XX" on the windshield. Wahaha. Till this morning, it suddenly hit on me that it's not XX. It's SHUANG, my chinese character. HAHAHA. Smart smart?? Just dat I took soooooooo long to realise. Really not very obvious from the photo larrrr. Wahaha. SCARLYYYYY.. I got it wrong and zi zuo cong ming.. haha.. hope not.. I've a feeling I'm right.. =p

So, we are situated right on top of a tattoo shop! Woho. No wonder jw seems keen to get a tattoo. But tattoos are for life! Scary. Muz think carefully what you wanna tattoo first. He said maybe put my name. Hmmm. I wouldn't want that. Not that I have any doubts that we will be together forever, but to see your name on someone else's body, just weird.. wahaha.. maybe we can design a logo and put it on a discreet part of our bodies.. keke.. like how we designed our fairytale wedding bands..

Our kitchen.. Looks fully equipped.. Bet by the time I get there, jw would have loaded it with all the food and kitchenware that we bought here. Keke. You know, I never did have any 'chef' genes within me. Never did. Writer, yes. Artist, yes. Designer, yes. Blogger, yes. Teacher, yes. Just not chef. BUT, guess wad. I'm still looking forward to starting to learn how to cook. I'm not sure if i can do it well, but i sure will put effort into it. & sometimes my perseverance can get quite scary and stubborn. Woohoo. Shuang the great chef!! Waaha. *daydreams* Jw will always be a better chef than I am. Always. Well. I dun mind being second in something. =p HAHA. (dear, i'm kidding!!~) Still trying to think of what dishes I should learn first. Hmmm.

Our room! Nice & cosy. We are going to place a queen mattress. Hehe. For the first time in my life, I'm gg to sleep on smtg that's bigger than a super single bed. Hehe. (ehhh, hotel and hostel beds dun count!~) Cool. But why do I think that somehow a super single bed is quite nice and loving and good to cuddle in too.. Hmmm.. Still, I'm looking forward to decorating our new bedroom!! and making it a nice home for jw to return to..

Our balcony.. Looks peaceful.. Wonder how it'll be like in winter.. Hope I won't freeze to death.. (you know how afraid of cold I am..) It'll be great to experience the four seasons together though.. Something we won't be able to do here in Singapore.. & they all say I'll get very bored there, cos I'm not allowed to work, and the town is so small and quiet, and shops close earlie, and in winters I'll be cooped up at home.. Haha.. But you know what? I still believe that as long as I have the internet (and perhaps the TV =p), I will be able to survive. There are so many so many things I can learn from online, and I'm just more than happy to have time to do it. Plus I'm gg to take my Masters and also take language lessons. Plus there's always YouTube and TuDou to entertain me. Plus I'm bringing my digital piano and I reallie wanna learn to play more songs. Plus I can blog everyday and post fotos online. Plus I can call home and MSN. Plus I'm so good at self-entertaining that I honestly think I can survive the 3 years. HAHA. Jiang3 shi4 jiang3, hope it's not all talk and no action. Well. But in order to accomplish smtg, you muz first THINK that you can do it, right? Wahaha.

Lastly, a fireplace to keep us warm in the cold nites. Cool? (errmm, i mean, Hot?) Haha. It's the first time I'm gg to live in a place wif a fireplace. It has always existed only in movies and books for me, so I'm reallie looking forward to it. Even if it's tiny and not very warming. I still wanna put a rug in the living room, put our 32" TV, and so on cold nites we can snuggle and watch TV together. Wahaha. And eat chips and drink beer. Woho. Hmmm. But it might jolly well be me doing it alone when jw's out sailing or working late. Haha. We'll see. =) Optimism never kills anyone right.

Panda shuang..

Yeah I think i am turning into a panda soon. Three late nites in a row. & I do mean late like 3plus am in the wee hours. =) Ain't as young as I was in uni days where I could tawn often and stay up every night. Now I can really feel more lethargic and when I am tired I can sleep all the way into afternoons. WAHAHA. Thanks to yesterday being Vesak Day and I had an extra day of rest. Now, let me recap what I did.

1) Teach at Berries

One of my last few sessions. I dunno. 4-5 more? Am going to make the most of it while I can, despite teaching with a sore throat and lack of sleep from clubbing at MOS till 3am on Friday nite. =p

2) Visit jw ah ma

Glad to see she's recovering well from the op. Still strong as a bull! Over 90 years of age. Amazing Ah Ma!

3) Play mahjong wif jw ah hmm, Jasmine & Denise (our cousins)

Surprisingly, I was sooooo lucky dat nite. Zi mo many 4 tai and 3 tai and gao two 5 tai. Fwahhh. $163 bucks in one hour and a half. So pai sey. Next time muz come often if not win liaoz then siam will kanna blacklisted liaoz. Eh oh. Keke.

4) Chat wif my in-laws

As usual, somehow, we will end up for a chat in my carpack and father will end up having to off the engine. Haha. This time round, we chatted about mahjong and mahjong cheating tricks. Keke. That took us about an hour. =) Till we started sweating in the lorry. Haha.

5) Watched Hong Jin Bao show and Meet the Fockers

Yeah. I stayed home and watched the shows on TV. Was so lazy. Woke up at 2pm, watched tv, slept again, eat, watch TV again. Doesn't that remind you of an animal? *oink oink*

6) Download Super Converter and Adobe Premiere CS3

Finally got down to action on my wedding preparation. Tried exploring and converting all the videos we took during our ROM and photoshoot so dat I can edit them. It's damn cheem. I'm not a very technical person who is trying to do technical stuff and has swore that I will do my own wedding video. Haha. The goal seems further and further away. Eh oh. All the video formats, codecs, audio formats just baffles me sometimes. Hope I won't give up!!~ Wahaha.

7) Set up Canon Pixma i1800 Photo Printer

Cool. So I bought a photo printer from Courts last week. Becos I reallie wanna print my own photos (though i noe the quality won't be as good) as and when I like. Plus I need to develop fotos from our ROM to make into an scrapbook (which I happily volunteered to do so that we can save $$ and not do a professional album). Haha. Sometimes I really think too highly of myself. =p BUT, I did manage to figure out how to work this printer. Wahaha. And ta-dah. I printed out 10 over fotos for my mummy. Our past CNY pics, our convo pics, my ROM pics. She was quite fascinated. Though she can also tell the quality not very very good and the photo paper I used was quite thin. Wahaha. But well, it's more than enough for me. =) Mai hiam too much. My main purpose is to bring it to Sweden and next time when we go on trips, I can print out the most beautiful ones and keep them all nicely in albums (plus send some back to our parents). Yay. Great idea, dear? Wahaha. SO, i am going to bring over not one, but TWO canon printers. One photo printer and one multi-purpose printer. Haha.

8) Use Movie Maker to get started on our wedding video

Yeah, I toyed around with Adobe Premiere but I gave up. It's a good software, but i dun tink i need such a cheem one for my simple video. Keke. But i swear one day i will learn to master it and do even nicer videos!! For now, movie maker will do. Sob sob. What if jw sees my video and is disappointed that it's such a lousy job. Haha. Sure hope not. We shall see how it goes!! Shuang shuang jia you!!!~ I am such a good encourager. Wahaha. To myself. =p

9) Create sample pics for the SMS system

Hooray. I did up more than 10 sample pics to use for demo for the SMS system. Well. It's basically just doing jpeg images, but you need to create space in the picture so that can put the SMS wordings in. How it will work is dat during the wedding, guests can SMS their wishes on the spot and will see their SMSes on the screen!! how cool is dat. Wahaha. Thanks to Yongjie for letting me know that such a wonderful idea exists. =) So now, I not only have to come up wif around 40 background pics for the SMSes, I also have to do little cards to be given to the guests so that they noe how to SMS, the details etc. It's quite interesting though. =p

10) Continue wif my bday surprise for jw

Yeah. I'm not gg to write here what's the surprise cos' he'll read my blog. Wahaha. But yeah, there's a part 2 to his bdae present, besides the envelope I sent to sweden that cost me $42.75 worth of postage stamps!!! The most expensive gift I've ever posted. Contained a self-decorated photoframe with our ROM pic that says "Junwei & Shuang, Hubby & Wife", the book PS I Love You, and a cute bdae card with lots of my writing in it. =p Glad it reached him. In just a week. (I had planned for 3 weeks, which is why I planned on paying max. $20 for the postage. Well. Plans failed. =p But it's okie..) The second part is smtg more simple, and best of all it's free to give it to him. Wahaha. Just dat I need effort in doing it. =)

There. The 10 big things i did in the last 3 days. Plus I had dinner wif my parents. =) Not bad rite. Woohoo.

Hope to sleep more this week.. Say bye to panda eyes!! (but somehow they seem permanent.. =p)

Yeah, the song that huimin and I kept singing during the outdoor photoshoot when we went to the zoo. Learnt this song from Dino last time. (not that I remember anything till haz and hm sang it.. Wahaha)

On 28 Apr, we really went to the zoo again!! Well, not exactly the zoo, it's the NIGHT SAFARI to be exact. Keke. It must be our 4th or 5th visit already. But this time round, we brought xuanxuan and yuheng, as promised to them last year. Keke. So cool! Xuanxuan was so looking forward to it. =)

I must say it really ain't easy bringing kids along on an outing. Esp if it involves two! Gotta bring their barang barang, gotta carry the stroller, gotta make sure they are well fed and have their milk at regular times, gotta bring them to toilet, gotta even spray mosquito repellent so that they dun get bung gah (ie mosquito bites).

Anyway, we took the tram ride (luckily, cos' can't imagine how we could tour the place on foot wth one baby, one toddler, and loads of barang barang). Jw and I still enjoyed watching the animal performance, and simply the feeling of being in the zoo. Wahaha.

Wondering where to bring the kids for their next excursion. Maybe science centre? keke. or Sentosa. =) Yippie! Till the next family outing!! =p

I've finally found someone..

Sharing with you our ROM march-in song.. "I've finally found someone" by Bryan Adams and Barbara Streisand.. It's so sweetly romantic..

wahaha..you shd hear about all our stories that took place during the ROM planning.. and all our silly arguments.. haha.. but well, we survived!! and as i have said, it's better to have quarrels than no quarrels at all.. =) fu qi chao jia shi nan mian de.. i tink so! so long as we stick together and get over each hurdle, that's all dat matters to me..

aniwae, we took like hours just to choose the song the nite before.. every song i played either doesn't suit his taste or mine.. haha.. we played a few clubbing songs, and dun tink our relatives would reallie approve of it though i did think some might be suitable.. Haha.. we considered Sean Kingston's 'Beautiful Girl'.. but can you imagine us marching in when it keeps singing 'You'll have me suicidal, suicidal...' UH OH..

When I asked jw what song he likes and would wanna suggest for the march-in (by the way he hates suggesting things and usually has no comments, but when he has, you'd better listen to him if not he will think he's being neglected and of LOW importance, wahahah, *winks*), GUESS WHAD? His answer was Gary Cao's 'BEI PAN'. Aka Betrayal. I almost fainted. Yesh it's a superb song and i love it, but can u imagine using it as a march-in song? HAHAHA.

Aniwae meng (our pro photographer) suggested using 'I've finally found someone' based on his experience of attending ROMs and weddings. wahaha. we initially wanted to settle for 'Tonight I celebrate my love for you', which is sweet, but even older and more passe!!! Glad we didn't. Not that it reallie matters cos we walked so fast that when we reached the ROM table we didn't even get to the chorus part. Haha.

and when we signed the papers, our jie meis cum music deejays decided to play the ever popular chinese song for weddings.. yeah, you can guess it.. jolin in the house, DT in the house, our love in the house, sweet sweet love.. =)

From strangers, to lovers, to husband and wife..

26 April 2008 will always be a very special day in my heart. Becos it was on this very day that I married the love of my life. It was on this day that in the presence of over 100 beloved frenz and family, I signed that piece of paper. It was also on this day that I felt more certain than ever, that he is the one I wanna be with for the rest of my life.

Yeah, call me Mrs Low now. Being someone's wife at the age of 25 was a childhood fantasy of mine, and indeed, now it has really come true. It still feels so unreal, like I'm still in a dream, living in castle, dressed like a princess, with my prince charming right beside me and our horse carriage waiting outside. I still can't believe how fast the past 2 weeks have flown by. Our indoor photoshoot, outdoor photoshoot, 3D2N chalet stay, flower selection for the hand bouquet and flower decor, albums photo selection, song recording, Sheng Shiong shopping to buy stuff to ship to sweden (we raided the entire supermarket), Nite safari outing with jw's parents, xuanxuan and yuheng, St James nite out wif our frenz, watched 'The Forbidden Kingdom' and 'Funny Games', rented costumes at Bugis, shopped for cloth at Arab St, shopped at Sim Lim, borrowed amplifier from Ah Hua for the chalet, held meetings with our ROM committee (namely the sisters and brothers), sent our gowns for dry cleaning, bought a 32" TV and lots of other electrical appliances, ate a 8-course lunch at Qian Xi Lou wif jw's family, played mj wif my mum and popo, visited ah ma house twice, met up with our planner at Regent hotel, spent time nua-ing together.. FWAH.. the list can go on.. Amazing 2-weeks.. feels more like 2-months.. hehe..

But yet, jw is away from me again. Back to sweden, back to our new house. Kinda sad to see him go on Sat nite. My hubby!! But well, time will fly and i know before we realise it, we will be in each other's arms again on 20 July. Keke. So in the meantime, i will work hard and plan for our fairytale banquet nite. Woohoo!!~ another round of planning. My colleagues suggest for me to quit media and be a wedding planner yet again after they came for my ROM. Haha. I will consider. Lalala.
