Yeah Yeah. Been out of action for the past weeks. Gomennasai! Was in malmö for nearly two weeks and now I'm back in my home sweet home. It was a nice, leisure, peaceful trip for me. And it felt nice to get out and walk about in a new environment, not to mention that being the 3rd biggest city in Sweden, there were plentiful of shops, eateries, sceneries for me to explore.
I love the cheap and yummy food that I could buy in town, just a few mins walk from the hotel. Woohoo!!~ We also went to the Asian market many times for dinner. Chinese food, Thai food, Vietnamese food, Japanese food, they had it all! I love Nihon ryori!! Jw loves the vietnamese food there, esp the beef noodle soup, whereas I preferred the thai & jap food. Keke. Pity we didn't get to eat dim sum though! I was looking forward to it. Sob sob.
I practically shifted my whole computer table there. Haha. Laptop, books, speakers, files, stationery, even my Canon printer. Woohoo!! It was a smart choice, because we used the printer alot in the end. Keke. Luckily we drove there, man. =) I was so delighted to see the huge study table. So conducive for me to have my online classes! Keke. And there was a large body length mirror right across me, so you can check yourself out in the mirror now and then when you get bored in class. HAHA.
This pic was taken from my window on a morning that I woke up. The world looked cold that day. And the white blanket it had on did nothing to keep it warm. Somehow, I had a urge to just jump right into the snow and let it 'eat me up'. Or do what Cindy and Sherin they all did. Roll in the snow!! Waha.
For many days, our poor little car also had on an extra jacket. We had to keep taking it away from him. Hehe. Yeah yeah, snow scraping. It was fun though, I mean, you don't get to do this in spore right. =) It was funny the way the snow will cover up the whole windscreen, and my first thought was that the parking attendants can no longer see whether there was a valid coupon! Waha. Unless they take the time and effort and endure the cold to scrape every car one by one. =)
We went shopping together during the weekend, but alas the shops were not really opened on Sundays. So there wasn't much to see. It was a idle Sunday, we woke up late, did some work, went walk walk, ate nice lunchie, and went to the casino. =) Still, every bit of it was enjoyable though. Look! I'm part of the band! Wahaha.
And on vday, which was a Saturday, we also had a lazy but nice day out. Keke. Instead of driving to other nearby cities as planned, we instead stayed in Malmö. Jw brought me to see one of the only few attractions here, which was the Turning Torso. And look! We tried many times before we got the shot above. The sunset at the back, our faces lit up, plus the bridge that links sweden to denmark, the Oresund Bridge! Keke.
This is the famous Turning Torso building. I wonder if it's all offices inside. Anyway these architects are really something, they design a building so unique, and it becomes famous and turns into a tourist attraction. For years and years and years. Well well. The building does look like it's spinning, right?
On Vday night, we were at the casino once again. Waha. Yeah I'm now officially a member so I don't have to pay for entry anymore. Woho!!~ Waha. I must be on a lucky streak this fortnight. Because I hit the jackpot at Carribean Stub thrice!! And it was on two separate occasions that I had 4 of a kind. 4Kings+1Queen, and 4Nines+1Seven. Unbelievable. Something I never achieved before in my life. Waha. Just those two times alone won me S$800. Keke. Even jw was amazed at my luck. Lalala. Girls get lucky when vdays are near the corner, maybe. Hehe. Wooo and the casino was also giving out free roses on vday itself, hee, very big and pretty roses! So, I got one too! Yeah yeah.
And on our last day, there was a snow blanket once again, and sweet jw said it was our chance to build my long-awaited snowman! Yoohoo!!~ I loved the snow there, it was clean, pure and soft!!~ And thus it was tremendous though shivering fun for the two of us to build our first ever mini snowman, which jw named Snowy. Haha. Well, how unique. =) But I loved it!!
Snowy looked kinda sad somehow. Maybe coz' it had leaves as hands, or maybe its scarf was pathetic, or maybe it had small eyes. And so, we decided to do something else to it. Hehe. How does it look now? Cool? Handsome? Happy? Cold? Waha.
I love you Snowy! Thank you for being part of my wonderful memories which I hope will stay for eternity inside my heart. Tata!!! And thanks dear for spending so many happy moments with me!! Till more smashing good times ahead!! Happy 67th Monthliversary!!

Snowflakes -- bouncing in a chilly wind, settling on the tip of your tongue or flurrying outside an icy window -- are one of the simple pleasures in life.
Yesterday was the first time in my life that I really, really felt snow. The feeling of snow falling on my head, my hands, my face, my cheeks... Yeah, so I still haven't built a nice snowman, but well, I enjoyed that feeling of walking on the streets alone, taking photographs of the sights, and witnessing snow falling down from the skies above.. At a point, it got so strong that the snowflakes felt like ice bits, and coupled with the strong winds howling, my face felt like it was being stung by bees with icy tails.. Keke.. My cheeks turned red, and the wind made me glued to the spot on the pavement. Each step I made required enormous strength and for awhile, I thought I would be blown away. Haha. But neh, I'm not as light as I imagined. *chuckles*
How Snowflakes are Formed
Contrary to popular belief, snowflakes are not formed when raindrops freeze (this is called sleet). Snowflakes are formed inside of clouds, when water droplets freeze and become ice particles. Water vapor in the cloud gathers on the ice particle, causing it to spread into a simple hexagonal prism and then to sprout branches to form a more complex shape.
From here, though, snowflakes take on shapes of their own. The environment inside of a cloud (the temperature and humidity) is constantly changing, so much so that it changes the shape of the snowflakes, sometimes from one second to the next.
Are snow flakes truly unique?
It's the ever-changing environment inside of clouds that makes snowflakes unique. So is it true that no two snowflakes are alike?
"It is indeed extremely unlikely that two complex snowflakes will look exactly alike. It's so extremely unlikely, in fact, that even if you looked at every one ever made you would not find any exact duplicates," says physicist Kenneth Libbrecht.
Cool, so I shall still stick to my old belief that every snowflake is the one and only. Hehe. =) Knowing that makes snow so much more special, don't you think so? =)

Lalalala.. We showed mum and dad our house, yeah, we practically held my pink laptop and walked room by room, corner by corner. Jw was the cameraman and I was the narrator. Keke. Showed them our room, the balcony, the kitchen, the dining room, my 'learning paradise' room, and even the toilet. Waha. And of coz, we zoomed in on our family photos that I hung on the wall in the living room. =p It was nice to feel them with me. I always told mummy webcam-ing and talking on phone are different, but she always says she's busy and doesn't have the time to learn. Sob. Now I hope daddy will be motivated to learn how to go online and chat wif us! It'll be soooo wonderful to talk to them once in awhile.
We also finally fixed our watches that we bought from New York. Yeap yeap. Adjusted the length of the straps and now they are good to wear!! Couple watches! Haha. Not really lar, since we chose them individually, but we thought they matched quite well. I like my pink strap! =p and jw's is a cool shiny black. Very nice too!
Lalala. So, although I'll be alone this coming week, I am still feeling happy now. Yippie. And Cheers Dear, to our 66th monthliversary of being together. *toasts* Hee. Happy happy happy. Just hope I won't complain of boredom in a couple of days. Keke. I'm thinking of what movies or dramas to watch when jw is not around. Or maybe I should just study my jap or mba.
