Yoohoo. Here's what happened during CNY when the guys lost to the girls in games. Which happens to be the outcome of most, if not ALL, of the many many sessions we had. Wahaha. I wonder why.
That night, it was me, Cindy & Priyah vs my hubby, Ekmond, Naga and Bob. Yeah. Means we the girls were handicapped 3 to 4. But you know what, we totally thrashed them at Pictionary (charade style!) cos' when we reached the finishing line they had only moved ONE step. And when Taboo came, I had to go make Angel sleep in the middle of the game so it was Cindy & Priyah vs the guys. BUT in the end, we still won. Haha. Which reminds me, the guys still owe us a forfeit for that. Maybe girls are generally just better than guys at these games. Or maybe the three of us just make a formidable team. Wahaha.
Anyway still kudos to the guys for their willingness to perform our requested forfeit. Guess who chose the song? ME! Wahaha. I love it. I think the guys did well, don't you think so? Now I must go and think of a next song for our next game session liaoz.. wahaha.. Tata!! I love games!!

A simple evening, simple dinner, simple family time. But that’s all it takes to make my vday a happy one.
So despite jw couldn’t come back for lunch, despite Angel got cranky at our desired dinnertime and we had to take turns to eat, despite this year I had no prezzie nor roses, despite jw had to return to work after dinner, I somehow still think that I am happy.
Maybe it’s because my life is generally complete and happy now, so there’s no reason why I shouldn’t be happy right? Wahaha.
Hope you like the prezzie dear! Kinda not a surprise, huh? I'm running out of ideas too. But least I made a nice card just for you! Hee. Muakz!
Our dinner at Michelangelo, which may be simple but not cheap! Hehe. It's my second time eating there, after my bday dinner two years back. Time flies! Now we have to handle a baby at the same time as we eat, not easy! =) But well, mummy and daddy managed!

Yeah yeah, time flies, it's Chinese New Year again!
I still remember when we had our family photoshoot last year, Angel was only 3 months old. And look at her now! She's turning 15 months. Wow. Really amazing how time can zoom past sometimes without you realising it till you look back.
We had a simple but enjoyable CNY celebration this year. First, we had a crew gathering where all the families and kids came together for a night of food, games and festive song singing. Since we don't have chinatown here, all we can do is to try to create the CNY atmosphere ourselves. =)
Secondly, we went to stay for 3D2N at Malmo together with some of our friends. It was a weekend spent shopping, eating and trying our luck at the casino. Keke. Well, I quite enjoyed it though jw and I can no longer go gamble together. Still, it was nice to spend time just relaxing in the hotel, shopping and eating with Claudine and her kids, indulging in buffet dinners and enjoying some private time at the casino tables. Yeap yeap. This is just us, and our way of living. Angel got to go gai gai and had some new clothes too. Woohoo.
Thirdly, we also have several steamboat sessions at home and with our friends. It's always so nice to have steamboats on CNY though sometimes it may be steamboat for consecutive days. Keke. We also played mahjong, poker and fun games like Taboo and Pictionary and basically just laughed our heads off because it was really hilarious especially when it came to doing forfeits. =)
So, to all friends and family out there, just wanna wish you a happy and prosperous year of the rabbit. May joy and bliss be with you and your loved ones all year round.
