Time flies, Daddy and Mummy will be going back to Singapore in less than a week's time. No more luxury of having family around to cook for me, to do dishes for me, to help me look after baby when I need some alone time, to watch movies on PPS with me, to chat with me, to do so many so many things for me and with me. I bet I will miss them, muchie.
So, over last weekend, we brought them and baby to Göteborg. It was my second visit there, and of coz a first for Angel and my parents. =) We set off at 8am in the morning on Sat, and we managed to catch a view of the nice sunset here, along with the half frozen sea. Hee.
There was this nice Swedish guy who drove by with a truck, and specially stopped to ask us if we needed help to take a family pic. Even though we told him it's ok, he still got off his truck and took a pic for us. So nice, right? There are indeed nice people in this world! Hee.
We stayed at Rica Hotel, which was quite a nice place, and for lunch, we took Dad and Mum to dine at this Malaysian restuarant. They loved the food! We had crispy duck, spicy sotong, some stew and vege along with chinese tea. I think jw and I are getting used to our new way of eating out, one has to take care of baby while the other eats in a rush. Haha. We are lucky we still have parents here to help now so we can both dine in peace, but when they go, woho, we'll probably have to eat even faster. Hehe. Unless she's asleep soundly, which she seldom is.
Angel seems to know that we like the food in the restaurant. Hehe. Check out her thumbs up pose! And I kinda like her standing up hair, hehe, looks quite stylo.
She was wearing her jacket given by Uncle Ian, and it seems to keep her nice and warm!
It was windy and cold in Göteborg, but I guess my parents have already gotten used to it. I asked mum to imitate Gustav's pose in this pic, and she really did. Hehe. So cute.
There, inside Nordstan, Mum was having her portrait drawn by this artist. After much pestering from us before he agreed. Why? Cos' the first time we approached him, he was drawing another girl and though we waited till he was done, he said he was tired and a whole string of Swedish which we didn't understand, but it just implied he was not willing to draw for Mum. I was sad!! So rare for Mum to find something she really wanted to do here. Sob Sob. So though we split up to go shop around, I came back after awhile to ask the old man again if he could do it. And guess what, so qiao Mum came back too. Haha. Xin you ling xi! She said she wanted to see if the man was lying about being tired and if he took on another customer. Haha. He didn't though. But the thing is, in the end, I used 100kr to bribe him instead of his usual price of around 60kr. Haha. Asian mindset. When nothing works, money does! Well, he hesitated for awhile, but he did take on the deal eventually. Well well. At least I thought he did a fantastic and professional job, and we all liked his end product so it was worth the money and the long wait.
We also visited Universeum on Sunday, our first time there. It was strongly recommended by Kenneth, but previously we didn't had the chance to go. So, here we were this time! I was so glad the places in Sweden are so stroller-friendly. Hee. Well, so many locals here have kids and babies, right. It was kinda fun though bit more cumbersome to push a stroller around, but I quite liked the adventure. Hee. I also carried baby in the carrier, and she always seems to like it and falls asleep more easily.
Angel and Kapo! I love how her hands look in this jacket. Heehee. Like asking you for a hug.
Oh by the way, she's 4.73kg as of two days ago. Hee. Nurse said she's growing fast and well. Yay yay!! No wonder my hands feel even more aching than before. Keke. And it's not going to get better, is it. Waha.
Yay, we are taking more and more family pics. Hehe. Though we are definitely snapping our camera way less than the way we used to when it was just jw and me. But well, our collection will continue to grow! I love family pics!
And here's Mum and Dad again. Keke. Mum was acting scared. Hehe. Dad refused to. Waha. I think they look cute.
As usual, I like to take jellyfish shots. Dunno why. They just looked nice, to me.
Hee, now it's the three of us and giant Kapo. Waha. Angel looks so tiny and adorable here.
Here's our shot on the screen using the temperature detector thingy in the museum. Can you see Angel? Hee. She was sleeping soundly against my chest. I wonder why I'm so yellowish. Hmmm.
We also played around with the musical instruments. The drum was fun, though neither of us can play it. Hee.
Oh, here's the Ha-Dou-Ken pose. Keke. Or gui bai qi gong. =)
We managed to catch the Bubble show at the museum too. Hehe. And then dine at the Mongolian restuarant for some yummy dinner before we headed home again. Well, good time passes soon! Oh, not to forget, jw and I also headed to the casino (thanks to mum and dad's help with baby) and I hit the straight flush in 3-card. Haha.
Well, till the next outing. I love road trips! Jw and I are already thinking of where to go during summer break! Hee. It'll be me, jw and Baby Angel this time round! =p
